Whats been happening lately

Well not much scrapbooking......Ken & I just had 4 lovely days away in Perth which was still quite cold. As we stayed in South Perth we caught the ferry and then a train to the Royal Show.It was the first time for years that we had been to the show without children....and it wasnt quite the same!!! While at the show we checked out all the lovely displays and were AMAZED at all the wondeful cakes that were on display.

Dame Edna Cake
Jimmy Choo Cake

While walking past the Bell Tower we found all our kids names in the paving, lots of schools with all the kids names were involved when the Bell Tower was built. It was kinder sweet finding all their names. The paving below has Jasons name on it.

I was also very spoilt and bought a new Pfaff quilt expression sewing machine....way too advanced for me at the moment but I live in hope of improving my sewing skills in the near future LOL

Whenever we are in Perth we always make sure we go to Kailis Bros in Northbridge for brekky.

In this picture taken at the expo you can see my quilt which received a 3rd place ribbon in the quilting section.
